Ah, I gotcha. That makes sense now. Yeah, I have to admit my initial enthusiasm quickly waned. And in truth, I think the internet in general isn't very interested in photography Q&A anymore. Photo-SE is close to being a graveyard. I think now that computational photography in phones is looking so goo... (more) |

> This site was badly hurt by importing lots of old content from SE.
What content was imported from Photo-SE? I know that [I originally advocated for some content to be imported](https://photography.codidact.com/posts/75032), but to my knowledge, **none of it** was imported. Indeed, the later edit... (more) |

@OlinLathrop you're right. Also, in retrospect, you're right about not migrating in questions from PSE. Rather than take this list / these answers as migration suggestions, these perhaps might be good starting points for seeding FAQs. (more) |

Question | — |
Should we enable MathJax support? It hasn't come up quite yet, but as I was thinking of some FAQs to write, it occurred to me that it would be nice to be able to write formulas in LaTeX. Should we enable MathJax for Photo-Video? (more) |

The question wasn't about linking to/from SE. Furthermore, frequent linking at SE to here seems like rather poor form — if Codidact wants to advertise at SE, there's a way to do that. But I'm wary of "expat" linking at SE to drive away traffic. (more) |

A: Can I use my old Nikon film lenses with a new digital camera? Your lenses (and the N6006 / F-601 body) use the Nikon F-mount, one of the longest-lived and supported lens mounts ever. It has gone through a few updates over the decades, in order to support features such as autofocus, fully electronic aperture control, etc. Lens–Body Compatibility Your Nikon... (more) |

Which posts or types of posts to migrate in? So, let's start figuring out what to import. I suggest let's figure out types of posts (by sub... (more) |

@CharlieBrumbaugh Well, it all depends on the specifics of usage. If the legs are spread wide so the camera is low, the wobble is substantially reduced. If the legs are wrapped around the right branch, that can possibly eliminate the wobble, _perhaps_. It's very situational. The one thing that can de... (more) |
