Will questions and answers from https://photo.stackexchange.com/ or elsewhere be migrated in?
If so what is the proposed timeline for the import?

I've started a similar Meta question to list the posts and/or types of posts to migrate in. Please add, criticize, suggest posts or categories of posts you'd like to see.

No, not on this site (though the option remains open, if it becomes apparent that it'd be useful later on).
Have a look at the proposal for this site. The folks there opted while we were hammering out details to start with a clean slate here, perhaps importing or copying over a small number of high-quality posts from SE.
