Answer A: 2020 - October - Clouds
Cool clouds The image actually didn't come out this badly, I had to reduce the quality since I always shoot RAW. I took this in the morning, when I looked out my window and saw the sun behind the clouds. Setting a high shutterspeed is what made the clouds look dark. August 13th 2020, near ...

Comment Post #278022 But I have a question: What if you are trying to shoot something that moves fast? Do you use shutter priority?

Comment Post #277043 @Peter Taylor I have to disagree. I once got a _decent_ photo of the moon with a iPhone 5. OFC, it's not the best, but you can get okay photos. But DSLR is my goto :)

Answer A: What are shutter speed, ISO, and Aperture?
1. Shutter speed. This controls how long light reflecting off of objects hits the sensor. The longer the shutter speed, the brighter the image. So a shutter speed of 1/50 would make the image brighter than if it was 1/500. The disadvantage of having a slow shutter speed is that if you shoot somethi...

Question What are shutter speed, ISO, and Aperture?
I've seen people talking about shutter speed, ISO, and f-stop. What are those? It really confuses me. What is the advantage in adjusting these manually, when you can just have your camera decide it for you? Lastly, does using manual mode for everything have an advantage or disadvantage?

Answer A: How can I take better pictures of the fish I catch?
One thing you can do is blur the background further. This is achieved by having a lower f-stop (you can think of it as aperture). If you are using a cellphone, this is the same thing as portrait mode on iPhone. You could also try to hang the fish with fishing line, so your hands don't show up in ...
