need to do it automattically
  • I have pictures from screenshots, and the way I took those screenshots, the header bar of the window is included.
  • How to get rid of it?
  • I'm using Linux and have gimp and ImageMagick installed but don't need and use both of them often.

  • Thanks for the two answers suggesting "crop".
  • I should have mentioned that I have a lot of those, and don't want to have to place a rectangle with my shaky hands each time.
  • The pictures are of different size but the header to be removed looks the same height in all of them.

  • The pictures are of different size and some are even embedded inside of a transparent frame (as the original window had rounded edges) but the header to be removed looks the same height in all of them.

Remove headers from screenshots
I have pictures from screenshots, and the way I took those screenshots, the header bar of the window is included.

How to get rid of it?

I'm using Linux and have gimp and ImageMagick installed but don't need and use both of them often.
