One easy to implement idea is to showcase photographs from this community, say a photo of the week initiative. Below I outline the suggested process: * We find photos of a reasonable quality (not resolution). How we find quality and who judges this should be dictated by a community process. At least initially, the Community Team should assume these duties on behalf of this site's community. * Out of the high quality photos, we find those we can give adequate credit for. This means ensuring the photographer is OK with us using the image to help promote our site, and ensuring we have an adequate credit mechanism. Direct contact or their explicit approval/credit linking on a meta thread would do the job. * For photos we can give adequate credit for, every week (or other defined interval), we would select one and record its details internally (to prevent duplicate photos of the week). * After recording the photo of the week's details, we would push it out to Twitter, and potentially other social channels (assuming we can find the admins of the Codidact page on them). We could do the same thing with videos, either concurrently (both photo of the week and video of the week) or just one of them. What does the community think?
