Long skimmer (*Orthetrum trinacria*), Tancat de la Pipa, July 2017. Taken with my D5300 and 70-300mm AF-S @ 300mm, f/5.6, ISO 800, 1/2000 sec. A local privately owned nature reserve partnered with a citizen science biodiversity project, inviting any keen nature photographers to visit, shoot anything that moved, and upload the results for identification by experts. The biodiversity highlight for me was seeing a spider which had never before been recorded in the region, but the photographic highlight was this dragonfly.
